5 Year Anniversary Talent Show & Open House

Sips + Bites + Fine Arts Fun + Music/Art Contests

Park Cities School of Music 5-year anniversary is this fall. Founder, pianist and performer, Eva Brandys and her elite staff of instructors will celebrate by applauding the young talent in the Park Cities and beyond.

Join them for a free celebration including an open house, a talent show, an art contest, special musical performances, rare enrollment opportunities, sips/bites and the chance to meet & mingle with their elite instructors.

Talent Show Details: Participate and win!
Kids ages 5-18 can step on stage and perform for the chance to win an acoustic guitar, a trophy and have their picture seen on the People Newspaper’s website.

Kids participating in the talent show can choose to sing one of the following songs:

  • Tomorrow from 'Annie'
  • All of Me by John Legend
  • Love Story by Taylor Swift
  • Roar by Katy Perry
  • Fight Song by Rachel Platten
  • Let it Go from 'Frozen'

Kids will sing to the soundtrack of each song. For a guaranteed chance to perform, participants can email or call to reserve their spot or participants can walk in the day of the event.

The talent show winner will be announced the following Monday, September 12th, on the PCSOM website and Facebook/Twitter platforms.

Art Contest Room: Participate and win!
Sister school, Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts (LCFA), is hosting an art room during the event where kids of all ages can participate (Ages 5-14 will be eligible for the art contest).

Kids will be provided with a white canvas and other art tools where they can reproduce artist Chuck McCarter’s work entitled Messenger or sculptor Stephen Potter’s work entitled Posing for Picasso which will be on display within the art room and be viewed here. The pieces produced by the art room participants will be put on display at LCFA through September 15th. On this date LCFA will host a public reception where they will announce the winners, have student/staff musical performances and refreshments. Art contest winners will walk away with a professional toolbox of art supplies and have their work hung at the LCFA studios indefinitely. More details.

Rare Enrollment Opportunities:
Currently PCSOM is enrolling for their fall music lessons which begin August 20 th – all who enroll now and onward will receive a free professional head shot. Enrollment beyond the August 20 th date will be prorated.
